Quanta Intelligence is looking for an outstanding developer who is interested in being on the ground floor of a growing firm.

Mid-level SSIS Developer

Position requires experience with SSIS and writing complex T-SQL queries to support client ETL and reporting needs.  Expertise using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 is needed and knowledge of BI best practices is essential.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Produce quality code on schedule
• Ability to develop efficient database queries and bulk updates
• Identify and solve problems of moderate to high complexity
• Have the ability to be productive working remotely
• Make design decisions according to best practices
• Develop code and packages using testing methodologies that confirm the quality of the work
• Develop ETL using prevailing patterns and structures
• Present code for review and for demonstrations to client
• Assist client developers with T-SQL mentoring, providing troubleshooting and guidance
• Work on multiple assignments concurrently under aggressive deadlines
  
  

Required Experience, Skills and Education:

• 2+ years SQL and/or SSIS development experience
• 3+ years of professional ETL development experience
• Significant understanding of and experience with multiple facets of the SQL Server product line
• Strong understanding of database performance optimization techniques
• Ability to work with client personnel in a consulting role
• BS degree in a related field or the equivalent experience 
  

This is a full-time salaried position that includes vacation and health insurance.  Prefer that candidate resides in Colorado or Oregon.
